This is the Taiwan version of the Watson’s Collagen “Beauty lies in every layer” Campaign 2018. After working on this project, I learnt a new term for this paper art technique: 「Quilling」. Been admiring this craftsmanship for many years, and followed master paper-art artist Yulia Brodskaya since her paper explosion exhibition in Hong Kong in 2013.
今個護膚廣告系列，用"靚足每一層"來打旗號。用一層層的紙藝喻意膠原BB需要用不同渠道滲透入肌膚每一層; 撐住多重皮膚問題~ 做此紙藝動畫學會了新Term: 「Quilling」。從2013 年起已追蹤俄羅斯當代紙藝藝術家 Yulia Brodskaya。今次有緣為 屈臣氏 做護膚廣告用 Paper-art Quiling 爆發視覺效果, 令我讃嘆後期動畫師的每一個紙品厚度及速度細節!
The campaign idea is that we have Many Layers in our skin, and we need collagen to support every-layers of it. One by one this Watson's skin care product can penetrate deeper into each layer of our skin.
Love this concept and well done animation team for all that effort in rolling out each paper line in this Quilling.

Collagen by Watsons is releasing a new line with patented Tri-collagen. Creatively using Paper Quilting layers to demonstrate the concepts that this skin care product can penetrate collagen into the deepest layers of the skin. CG and the motion paper art is the biggest hit in this video commercial.
